Nairobi to Amboseli
After an early morning pick-up from your hotel or airport, you will drive south towards Amboseli, arriving at your lodge in time for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive in a 4x4 Land Cruiser. The park offers some of the best opportunities to see large tuskers and other wildlife against the clearing skies of Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at a mid-range lodge or luxury tented camp.
Full Day in Amboseli
You will start the day with an early morning game drive when the animals are most active and the mountain views are clearest. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. You can then choose to relax at the lodge, perhaps enjoying the pool views, or head out for a mid-morning game drive. After lunch, you will visit a local Maasai village to learn about their rich culture and traditions (optional). Later, proceed for an afternoon game drive in search of lions, cheetahs, buffalos, and the diverse birdlife of the park. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your lodge
Amboseli to Nairobi
Enjoy a final early morning game drive or a leisurely breakfast watching the wildlife from the lodge terrace. After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Nairobi. You will stop for lunch en route at a scenic restaurant in the Rift Valley. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your comfortable mid-range safari.
