Nairobi to Masai Mara
After an early morning pick-up from your hotel or airport, you will drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The drive offers scenic views of the valley and Mount Longonot. Upon entering the park, you will begin your game drive immediately, spotting wildlife like zebras, gazelles, and giraffes along the way. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a mid-range lodge (e.g., Basecamp Masai Mara or Ashnil Mara). After a short rest and perhaps a dip in the pool, head out for an afternoon game drive in search of predators. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Full Day in Masai Mara
Start the day with an early morning game drive (6:00 AM) when the air is cool and the predators are most active. This is the best time to see lions hunting or leopards resting in trees.
